I'd love to say I was off secretly making myself better in some way so I could come back and everyone would love me, but honestly I just spent about half a year doing nothing because I finally gave in to myself.  I've finally managed to realize that introversion and perfectionism are wrecking me so I'm trying to take small steps to overcome them.  The introversion is coming along nicely, but I won't really feel like I've beaten my perfectionism until I can draw happily again.  So I'm starting small - a little sketch every once in a while, the other day I spent maybe an hour or two on a drawing and was happy with it, which was fantastic.  I'm working real hard to get that feeling back.  Fortunately it seems none of my talent has sapped in that time so I'm able to jump in back where I left myself.
