# About me

I'm Bonnie, from England. I've always loved art and photography and since I my mystery illness got worse and I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (and more recently Trigeminal Neuralgia) I've focussed on this and branched out into other areas of art and crafts - when I'm well enough - to replace my old hobbies that I've had to give up (horse riding and working with horses, sports etc).
I still get out and about when I can manage it but it's harder now and takes it's toll.
I often have quiet times where no inspiration strikes but I always get back to work at some point..so I'll keep uploading ;)

Yes but these ones are worse with what they are doing to disabled..even disabled children are having benefits cut in HALF.

Being both Scottish and a Socialist I'm well aware of what the tories are capable of. Back in the early '80's I spent most of my workng life unemployed. Something from which, if I'm honest, I still have't really recovered from. Those were my formative working years and the tories buggered it up! Still, at least I AM Scottish and so will soon be living in a Free Republic.

I'd just be happy if they left the poorest alone. I spend most of my time signing petitions and sending emails in protest, I'm facing the cuts this year, we will see who wins the battle. I'll certainly not stop fighting.

I'm not sure they will this time. Too many of us are actually starting to protest and move. Already the governments plans to save money by cutting benefits is costing them billions because of all the people fighting..each appeal costs. None of us are going to back down..I think we will get stronger as we spread news..first battle is getting media coverage because so far they have ignored us...but there are more and more of us coming forward each day.

What you need to do is get people who are NOT affected by these cuts to take an interest, because there are far more of them than there are people directly affected. Then you'll have what's called a "critical mass". Until then, nothing will happen. See that comment by Diane Abbott about white people liking dividing and ruling that got her into bother...she's absolutely right. That's the way the British State works. Evil.
