Rushing and a running, running, thunder of the buckshot pumpin', got molten metal in my veins. Rushing and a running, running, a reckoning of lead is comin', kickin' in the gates of hell again.
Everything was quiet for most of October, but some dumb fucks decided to perform a blood ritual on the night of Halloween. On November 6th, supposedly, a great demon is supposed to rise in the graveyard they performed the ritual in. I've got black blood in my veins, and my silver is ready to sing again. A horn full of salt, my trophy hook tucked to my belt, and more than a few ritual symbols in my notebook. Whatever is going to happen at this graveyard, IF it even happens, I'm ready for it. And if it drags me into the depths of hell itself, then every single one of those unholy motherfuckers better be ready to taste my shoe polish, because unfortunately for them, I'm very hard to kill.Β

All the time. But most of the time, salt lines and devil's traps aren't what's needed. Can't keep a barghest out with a bit of salt, you have to meet it head-on. Can't kill a vampire with stakes and garlic and sunlight, you need to dance with a silver sword until they overtax their healing abilities, and that's assuming it's not a higher vampire. And don't even get me started on zombies.Β

Tonight was but a slight sliver of a red crescent moon. Much too easy to overlook but I saw it sighing there in the sky. Should we weep for lost children or dance in the dark while fireflies cast away the gloom? I've been the scapegoat and sometimes the thief. But I remember being told the heart inside still resembles human kind. Despite our bloodthirsty feasting on different brothers' blood. When you cast aside love and fear what's left when all other emotions are different versions of those? Who knows but a firewalk in shadows?
