I know the feeling...I've just continued work on a digital drawing I started in June. Fortunately, it's not a request or gift or anything like that...
You really don't need to worry; I'm pretty patient.
But yeah, setting deadlines is good...I set a deadline for myself for a big group drawing I haven't even started yet...otherwise I don't think it will ever get done.

I know how you feel about taking a long time on things. I only did three pieces of artwork in the last year...but really, if you're busy with classes and other obligations, those come first. I understand completely. So don't worry that it's past January 7th already. Just relax, take your time, and just do what you can.
By the way, since you were gone so long and missed out on most of your premium (I went on a spending spree and bought 15 people premium membership), I'll give you another month when you come back. :3

Well, I myself have been busy failing classes and not sleeping...that's why I'm looking for a place to stay. Going to drop all my classes before I fail them. And speaking of busy, I'm supposed to be doing artwork for a game...but I'm really slacking. I was supposed to be done on the 10th with my current assignment. -.-

Well, I made the colours in the background too bright so the attention isn't to the tas tiger and the fur is a nightmare, don't know how to get the texture...

Wow, a background too? You really didn't have to...but I can tell this picture is going to be awesome. As for fur, I haven't done too much yet, but I've worked with hair some, so you may be able to use the techniques from this tutorial ([link] ) to get a good fur texture. It's what I've based my hair/fur techniques on.
Oh, more ponies, sorry. It's a game called "Welcome to Ponyville", based around MLP: FiM of course. I'm working on backgrounds for them, and I've been uploading most of my WIPs in my scraps gallery. The group itself is Filly Gamez ([link] ), which will probably do non-pony stuff in the future since there's such a large development team now so we have the resources to make full-scale games.
Yeah, unfortunately, it's easier to drop all of them than to keep one, because I could have debt left over from the other dropped classes if I keep one. I will be trying to get a job once I move in though. Not going to drop all my classes for nothing, of course.
Yep, I know. I try not to procrastinate, and I've gotten better about it, but I still end up doing a lot of things the night before. My assignment for the game is almost done, though. Just need to add a few different variants with books. -_-

I'm sure it will be great. I wasn't even expecting a background. In my own work, I started doing backgrounds, and now I'm obsessive about backgrounds, so I almost always have to have one. How long have you been drawing though?
It should be done by the end of this year actually, but I'll let you know.

Yeah, I guess I've only really been drawing since I was in high school, maybe since I was 16. Mostly I'd just doodle when I was bored. Those are mostly the old notebook paper sketches in the back of my dA scrapbook. I used to hate art because I was like "I fail

Oh, sorry for the confusion. The game actually is nothing like League of Legends. I was just wondering if you played it. A lot of my friends on the Filly Gamez team play LoL, but I just play it every once in a while with them. I know what you mean though, but I usually leave that to my younger brother. He buys something like 10 games every time there's a Steam sale. -.- But recently, he's actually been saving for things other than games...I'm not even sure what. I think he wants a drawing tablet. XD
Don't worry, not tragic...it's okay. You enjoy the games you buy, right?
Anyway, the game is actually sort of a story-driven adventure game. Basically, you go around doing things and advance the story as you go (I know that's a terrible description :c). A lot of it is based around the dialogue choices you make.

Yeah, I just got a refurbished tablet not too long ago. It was cheap compared to the normal price, but it works just fine. My latest two pictures are mostly done with my tablet.

It's no problem, really. I feel kind of bad about imposing a deadline on you...maybe January 7th? First date that came to mind. That should give you three weeks...but don't worry if you don't make it. Just take your time.
And I don't know that you'll be on to take advantage of it, but I gave you a month of premium membership. Put it under anonymous because I didn't feel the need for thanks (only reason I have premium is because there was a Christmas deal so you got however much premium you bought for other people).
