I'd love to get into scale and chain mail, just don't have the funds or time at present.

The knitting is awesome with scales and it saves in price and wears nice! I wanna make a purse but I think the metal may just be a bit heavy. Is she on dA too? And my pleasure

God, I can't knit. I don't have the patience for it, even if it is really nifty!
I think it'd depend on the size of the purse. I have a purse that fits my book, my iPad, and my DS with room to spare - it's made out of a recycled car tire! It's fairly heavy, but so awesome that I still carry it.
She used to use dA, but then got mad at it? I'unno; I keep telling her to become active again, but so far she's resisting.
