It was an ordinary day, seemingly the same old thing. That didn't mean it wasn't nice, however. The sun wasn't overbearing, with it's blinding UV rays that would typically beat down on the poor innocents below. It wasn't the usual humidity that would cause hairs to rise and people to whine and groan. It was pleasant, for once. The skies showed off a magnificently vibrant and saturated baby blue, while the clouds where icing on the cake to the endearingly simplistic design of the blue painting that existed above the humans' heads. This also left the ordinarily aggravating Sun tucked underneath a blanket of ice crystals. To top it off, a light breeze strolled about and gently hugged each and every passerby, allowing them serenity.
One of those passerbys happened to be Patsy Penrose. They strolled along in a light pink sundress, and it had been covered with a white pattern of adorable, tiny butterflies. Her hair had been let lose and it danced freely in the kind wind. He also wore his typical light pink googles, which protected from the slight sunlight escaping from the floating water droplets. Pat then spotted a nearby black park bench, and decided to rest for a while. Perhaps nothing but walking around town for an hour in heels does something to a fourteen-year-old. They kicked off their heels, after feeling their feet go numb, and rested nonchalantly on the cool bench.

Walking along the town was Owen Veil. He had a different outfit for the warm weather that was upon the citizens. Instead of his normal hoodie, he had a white tshirt with the logo for the band, The 1975 with black khaki shorts. His hair was messy as normal and his black framed glasses rested on his pale face over his bright blue eyes. He had been listening to music and taking a stroll around the park. He ended up coming across his friend, Pat. Upon seeing her beautiful outfit, a smile was brought to Owen's face. Owen removed the white headphones out of his ears and approached his friend.
"Pat! It's nice to see you here." Owen said to them with a smile.

They looked up, as they had been daydreaming about the very same guy in front of them. Think of the devil.
"Heya, Owen!" He beamed. "Nice to see you, too."
Pat glanced over at his shirt, and their eyes lit up like glistening stars in the moonlight. It was one of their favorite bands, The 1975. Maybe it was a coincidence, maybe it just went to show the two were practically made for each other. Either way, they were pretty happy about it.
"Oh my god," She squealed. "You like The 1975, too?! It's, like, one of my favorite bands ever!!"

Owen found her squeal to be adorable. He took a seat next to them.
"Yeah. I really enjoy their music. My favorite song is Chocolate. It's just so catchy and haha..I dunno."

"Niceee! I really like Robbers. The guitar is great, and the vocals are just enchanting," Pat smiled. "And the background beats really help to make it catchy! The lyrics are kinda depressing, but hey, I like 'em anyway! The Sound is good, too."
They began chatting away about a majority of the band's songs, going on and on about the addicting rhythms, the deep lyrics, and the unique vocals of each and every one of the songs that they were discussing. It felt like they were the only two people in the world at that point. However, unbeknownst to them, someone seemed to be listening in to their conversation.
The girl was a mere 5 feet, 1 inch. She had neat, orange-auburn hair, with neat bangs that were curled at their ends. Her full, thick hair was held up into two pigtails by baby blue bows. Like the bangs, they were curled at their tips as well, looking a bit like a swirl of sorts. She wore a short-sleeved, beige, buttoned cardigan; with diamonds for buttons. Underneath was a periwinkle, frilly dress that reached down to 2 inches above her knees. She wore similar periwinkle flats, combined with translucent baby blue socks. The girl's skin was pale, her face adorned with faded freckles as her sapphire eyes gazed at them. Or, more specifically, Pat.

Owen was unaware of this girl being around until his eyes began to wander and he got a glance at her. He decided not to say anything though because he didn't want to interrupt Pat, who was still talking about The 1975.

Pat then kept babbling for a bit, then stopped mid-sentence, blushing a bit.
"Sorry, I must've been rambling again," They apologized. Then they noticed his eyes were elsewhere.
"What are you-" She turned around, spotting the girl behind the tree as well. She grinned.
"Uhh, Blaire? We're not playing hide and seek, you know."
The girl then quickly, yet awkwardly, stepped out of the trees.
"M-My apologies, Pat dear," Blaire touched her neck in embarrassment. "But, I just wanted to thank you again for helping me, with the project."
The girl looked at Owen, eyeing him curiously.
"And who might that be?"
"Him?" His expression appeared bewildered for two seconds, but eventually he stopped spacing out and replied,
"Ohh, he's my friend, Owen!" Pat then turned towards the aforementioned boy. "Owen, this is my friend, Blaire."

"Oh. Hello Blaire. You and Pat are friends?" Owen asked.

Blaire nods, but seems to appear rather uneasy.
"So, Pat, dear," She began, "I was, erm, actually pondering if you'd enjoy going out, to a restaurant. If you are indeed hungry, that is."
"Well, the last time I ate was six hours ago-"
"Six hours?!"
"My parents were away, and I don't really know how to cook," Pat shrugged. "Sure! Owen can come, too, right?"
"Yes, Owen may come if he likes." Her uneasiness only seemed to increase. Blaire's anxiousness began to become rather apparent.

Owen could tell by the look on Blaire's face that she was uneasy.
"N-no..You two can go on your own..I hope you two...have fun..."

"Aww, are you sure you don't wanna come?" Pat asked, a bit disappointed.
"No, i-it's fine."
"Alright, if you insist," The shrugged. "I'll text you later, okay?"
Before leaving with Blaire, Pat gave him a peck on the forehead, and the two of them walked off. Blaire looked back at Owen, with a small smirk on her face before turning back to Pat.
( Timeskip~ )
It was 7:48 PM at Owen's home. Currently, it was movie night, and the whole family was snuggled in blankets and pajamas. They had been watching The Road To El Dorado. Bluberry and Bev sat next to Owen on the floor, and Brooke sat inbetween their parents.
Owen's phone would then vibrate with a text, coming from his crush, Pat.
"Got back from the restaurant

Owen couldn't help but smile once he received that text. Truthfully, he had been intimidated by Blaire and he honestly wasn't feeling the greatest after Pat left with her. Getting that one message from them turned his mood right around.
"I'm fine. I'm watching El Dorado with family. It's probably my new favorite movie now aha! How was the date with you that Blaire?"

"Date??? Lol it wasn't really a date XD But yeah, it was cool! It was expensive though. 
Bev leaned over his shoulder, grinning.
"You texting your boyfriend~?" She teased, whispering.

Owen's cheeks turned red.
"Th-they're not my boyfriend Bev."

And at that very moment, Pat sent another text.
"I gtg though, going to bed. Goodnight, love you."
Bev glanced at the message and grinned. She was proud that she had been correct about Owen's not-so-single status.
"I beg to differ."

Owen blushed more.
"Bev they're just being nice. I'm not boyfriend material.."

"Oh, yes you are," She insisted. However, she was then shushed by Brooke, who had informed the two of them that they must'n chatter during a movie.
"We'll talk after the movie," Bev pouted.
( Timeskip~ )
"So, what did everyone think of the movie?" Rachel asked the small crowd, gazing at each of them with expectant eyes.
" 'Twas cool," Answered Bluberry, nonchalantly.
"Tag yourself, I'm Kuzco," Bev whispered to Owen, snickering.
"Is there something you'd like to share, Bev?" David glared at the young girl's comment. "Perhaps something that isn't a soon-to-be-outdated meme?"
"No," The child grinned. If only David was aware of her knowledge of his interest in outdated memes. Perhaps then he wouldn't be commenting on her taste.
"I thought the movie was pretty funny, actually," Brooke stated.
"Excellent," Their mother seemed proud of her movie choice this evening. "Now, it's time for bed, everyone. Back to school tomorrow."
And accompanied by that was a series of groans, "Okays", and a dramatic, "WHHHYYYY", before the children headed off to their rooms.
On the way, Bev nudged Owen, smirking.
"You are boyfriend material, though," Her smirk grew into a sly grin. "In fact, I think you 'ought to be Pat's favorite brand."

"Did Pat even confess to you?" Bev questioned. "I was sure they told you they liked- Oh wait, that's a secret~"
His younger sister giggled, grinning with tease and glee.
"You'll have to ask Pat about that," She poked him in the neck. "You wanna try to impress her?"

"Alright," The green puff cleared her throat, clasping her hands together. "First off, are there any potential romantic rivals you can think of?"
