What you did was exactly a new comment, not a response to a featured comment. It's very much like posting a new but already existing thread post on forums or 4chan. I seriously made it clear on my profile ID and featured comment(s) that people should not flood the comment section with new comments when it's much easier, even for me, to find a certain comment written as a reply to a featured comment which is that same "already existing thread where people can post new comments". You just have come telling me that you're confused about the whole thing so I'm explaining what you have to do. Hence, I'm not ending this conversation and there's no need to thank me if my previously posted instructions weren't enough.
