Yes, I've started with Olympic style foil and saber, moving on to more historically accurate forms from renaissance era Italy and Spain. I tried my hoof at broadsword, hand and a half/bastard sword, dagger. But these days I'm working on my samurai swordsmanship.

^^ I'm a big fan of historical reenactment, also the katana and the bushido are some of my favorite martial art forms.

Ditto that. My favorite anime ever, Gintama, is all about a samurai who carries a wooden sword. (The most badass wooden sword in all of history!)
