Perfectly fits the description of a character I wrote about once. I looked a long time before I found your painting.

Oh, I'm curious about this character you wrote... And I'm very pleased you liked the painting.

I was drawn by his pale skin and expression. I ran a D&D adventure once that was set in 1600's Colonial America. I feature several characters (including a Spanish Paladin and an English witch). One of the characters is an Irish Bard named George McElroy. He is a good man, but is very roguish and tends to hang with a bad crowd. He accidentally meets up with several villains and writes songs based on his close calls.
In any event, he is oddly pale, has short hair, and straddles the line between good and evil. When I saw that facial expression, I could picture George sitting in a tavern somewhere between performances. That's why I liked it

Loved it...in fact, without realizing it, you created the face of a fictional character I wrote of once. I always saw him dressed in black with that pale face and odd expression. I think that's what drew me to the picture! Nice work.
