# About me
Hello there, how are you? I'm a part time writer of both factual articles and the odd social commentary, and the rest of my time is divided up between Boxing and tinkering with some amateur fiction.# Comments

Hey~~
Just wanted to thank you for the fave!
Also, since I'm currently focusing on music, I was wondering if you'd be interested in supporting me in that endeavor of mine?
If you are, I can link you to where you can find that stuff!

Hey, I know I haven't done anything recently and haven't kept up with your work, but I managed to get an hour today so I went through all my watches, including this one. May I say that I like all of your work and its brilliant to see that you have 6,000 page views now.Β
Once I get enough time each day, I'll start writing again.Β

Thanks for the compliments, and don't sweat it, life gets in the way a lot and it can be hard to keep track of all those dev stacks. Good to hear you'll be back though, looking forward to it.

As a libertarian communist, did you check out the International Organization for a Participatory Society? www.iopsociety.org/

Hello, yes I am aware of IOPS, though as a LibCom I don't really have much interest in what reads like a cross between Proudhon's Mutualism and the old Social Democratic International.
I'd rather organise the Workers of the World into the One Big Union. www.wobblies.de/

Thank you for the reply. IOPS tries to be a big platform for left libertarians, I donΒ΄t see anything like the old international in it and the economic conceptions go beyond mutualism and include anarcho-syndicalism as well. We have to get over this exclusiveness in language and membership on the left or we will get nowhere.
IΒ΄m watching about what has been proclaimed and what has been done by a certain person/group in the past and what can be expected in the furure. The wobblies are worth supporting too. IΒ΄m supporting several groups (mostly finacial, as taking pictures is prior to me over politics) and as long as they donΒ΄t contradict itΒ΄s fine for me.
By the way: Anything planned to be posted about the TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)? They want to start introducing it already in 2015. This might replace whatΒ΄s left of peoples sovereignity by corporateΒ lobbyism completely.

"Thank you for the reply. IOPS tries to be a big platform for left libertarians,"
Then they've got one serious fundamental problem then since there Parecon proposals aren't Libertarian by any definition. All it does is collectivise the boss class. IOPS does not alter the worker boss relationship so it is neither Libertarian or Communist.
If you think a collective leadership is inherently better then I suggest you take a look at the Sisters of Camelot strike were a managers Collective decided to reject and punish its workers demands. canvassunion.org/
"I donΒ΄t see anything like the old international in it and the economic conceptions go beyond mutualism"
No it doesn't its basically Bakunin's Collectivism re branded, only with even less Socialism.
"and include anarcho-syndicalism as well. "
??? Anarcho-syndicalism is an organisational theory, since IOPS does not operate in an Anarcho-Syndicalist way that's impossible. According to its own website it operates via Political chapters you know just like the old international. It wouldn't even tell me how these chapters are organised, it just told me how it wishes them to be. Which I frankly find confusing, if you already have active Chapters then you must be able to find out how they actually work in practice, so why the silence? But even what it does tell us is often very vague like.
"
- provides a mechanism to recall leaders or representatives who members believe are not adequately representing them.
- provides means for fairly, peacefully, and constructively resolving internal disputes.
Then there's this:
"seeks short term changes by its own actions and programs and by support of larger movements and projects as its affected members decide, both internationally, by country and also locally, including addressing global warming, arms control, war and peace, the level and composition of economic output, agricultural relations, education, health care, income distribution, duration of work, gender roles, racial relations, media, law, legislation, etc., as its members choose."
With the exception of the modern examples this is exactly what the old Social Democrats were supposed to be doing. It even has a Interim Committee which has the power to decide for the whole organisation based on their personal preferences.
To be perfectly honest I've read their aims several times now and I see nothing even remotely Libertarian about it. It doesn't even appear to be committed to Direct Action
"assesses engaging in electoral politics case by case, including cultivating a very cautious electoral attitude."
Show me please, where is this supposed LibCom part of it?
"We have to get over this exclusiveness in language and membership on the left or we will get nowhere." Language? This is the same argument the Bolsheviks used to sidelined fellow Revolutionaries not under there control.
"The wobblies are worth supporting too. IΒ΄m supporting several groups (mostly finacial, as taking pictures is prior to me over politics) and as long as they donΒ΄t contradict itΒ΄s fine for me."
Well I don't have much money so what makes IOPS worthy of what I do have? I'm going to be blunt here, you said I was a LibCom and broadly speaking that's correct. But as a LibCom I see nothing of value in IOPS, what makes you think there is?
Why should I or anyone else join an organisation that not only doesn't reflect my views even in abstract, but others me more of the same Parliamentary reformism that literally thousands of other "left" groups already offer me?
What has IOPS done that's worthy of my time and effort that can't be better spent helping the IWW organise and fight?
"By the way: Anything planned to be posted about the TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)?"
Well, since I'm mostly a photography/writer/poet probably not, I suppose I could crank out a Limerick but wouldn't count on it.
