SCHOOL IS TAKING IT'S TOLL! I have so much stuff this smester. On top of that I took on som free lance work. Things will be tapering down soon and I'll actually have some time to start updating.

Thank you dusmephit! You should really give painting a shot. Lots of people feel that it is too hard and it can be. But I have discovered that it makes certain things very easy and its so rewarding.

I've only been on this site for a few hours and it is appearant to me that the body of works collected here revlove alot around the style of anime or manga. Having been on this planet for 30 years now has allowed me the opportunity to witness the introduction of this art form into America. I admit that I was a big fan of it in the early 80's and my own style of art was a direct mimic of it. However, its popularity led to a stauration that I can describe as crap animations. It seems that every studio in Japan was rushing to put out the next Gal Force or Bubble Gum Crisis. It sickened me to see all the titles that revolved around cute girls with big eyes, big hair, big boobs and even bigger guns. Manga was a refreshing break from all that while still keeping with the style and flavor of the Japanese form. It was not long until that medium festered into a plague and many American comic artists were drawing like Otomo, Shiro, or Urushihara.
So what's my point? DO I hate Anime and all who choose to dabble in it? Hell no! I think it is a great art form but it certainly is not the only one in existance. I would like to see Anime as more of an influence or insperation rather than just a stencil for people's work. Find a way to make it your own!

Personally i'm not a fan of the style(s) but i have nothing against them as art... The only time i cringe is when these new "artists" arent creating anything new... I'm about to reword everything you said, so i'll stop.
