# About me

Two months after graduating from Lac Courte Oreilles High School I enlisted in the U.S. Army Infantry. I was in the 101st Airborne, a Rakkasan, for those of you who recognize the name. I put myself through many tough challenges to get to where I’m at today. I’m not rich or even very successful really. I just strive to be happy doing what I love. Which leads to my Art. Its been there through it all, it tells it all even. Through the years I’ve grown and it all shows in my work. I used to be so impatient and rushed everything, sure it worked for me then but I finally started to sit back and take my time, now things are starting to come together for the best. Which taught me a lot about life. I used to be numb to so much but once I finally came back to my art and let it all out, things just flowed. A little rough at first, I wasnt used to being home from the service yet. I failed a few times but I gathered myself up and came back even better than the first and second time. Now I’m here, I’m not the same person I was but I look back and I’m glad I’m here how I am. I have learned so much from my path.
Native American Art is where I started when I was younger, even going with my mother and selling in the Department of Interior in Washington D.C. I was young and its quite a blur to me but it was fun and quite the crowd there as well. The memories are brief but the best parts are there. I even remember beading pieces for my moms work and we’d split what we made and I’d buy a trampoline or my bikes and super soakers, cant forget those. I was a proud lil dude, definitely wild but we had a lot of good experience and art is one of the best ones. I believe that is why I’m going to keep going with it and stop holding myself back with little doubts, I will learn as much as I can in every medium I can.
My love for art will eventually lead to something greater, I love the challenge and I’ll always take one as long as it is exciting enough, putting my twist in the mix is always the fun part.
I guess that is My Story for now
Thank you for being you!

Thank you! MelissaKuri ! I've been slacking but the time for that is over (^_^)> I recently started up a studio in my hometown, there are 3 of us that kind of know how to do what the others do but we dont step on toes, its Myself my mother and my sister that are sharing the space. Its quite nice already. I've been trying to put at least 6 hours+ a day into some projects. I take breaks from mediums, right now I'm switching back and forth between leather and Painting. Gives me a chance to think about the next steps and most of the time it works out for the best.

I recently did DNA testing and was really disappointed to find I don't have any Native American blood in me >_< When I was a little kid, I thought they were like the coolest people ever XD Still cool to me :')

Lol yeah I've always been studying and grew up learning how to make quite a few things from my culture, I've since been kind of learning new mediums and mixing and finding places for them to work for me with traditional arts But I'm a long ways off from where I want to be.
