It's hard to give you precise advice, your work has already good basis I think.
What I can tell you is that you should observe a lot other drawings, you will learn many things.
Also you should read carefully the tutorials that can be found on DA. Have a look for example at Cataclysm-X's tutorials [link] , I'm sure you will find helpfull tips.
One last thing: when I look at your latest drawing I can see that you haven't done the proportions perfectly. You should use a grid to help you (this is what 90% of people use here on DA).

Little tips: I use sharp pencils 9H to 9B. You can try to use different ones on the hair to give colour transmittance
And the key is lots of practice, that's all

Unfortunately it is almost impossible to find 9h to 9b pencils here on Brazil is almost nonexistent i can only get by exportation. But I have charcoal pencils I can use it in this cases?
