I came from Japan and I can manage several different languages, but nothing is fluent. The United States could be deceiving since it's just a place to stay, as any country is.

When I was in Florida, there were a number of Brazilians, and I knew a few. I'd met several on dA also, and they were suggesting I moved to Brazil, but I don't think I could. I giggle when I use Portuguese.

There are a lot of Brazilian who like Japan, but they're "otakus" - in Brazil we use this word to call the people who like anime and manga, and yeah, I know it's veeeery wrong... -.-'

You really don't need drive crazy yourself 'cause you giggle, dude; many Brazilian giggle too, we don't have problems with this (me and my best friends ever talk giggling XDD). And we sttuter and falter a lot too... So, I think you'd be okay. XDD

Otaku is an interesting slang word. You don't have to add the "s" in Japanese. Words are singular *and* plural at the same time.

Japan is a very strict culture. I'm sure it's not nearly as free as South America because the U.S.A. isn't that free, either. In each place, you have to pay to play.

Well, Buddhism is a little little LITTLE piece of the religion in Brazil... The Christianity (Catholic Church and Protestantism) is the biggest religion here. We have Candomblé and Umbanda too; they're African influences, but many people have prejudice with them 'cause the Catholic influence in our growing up...
Catholic spiritualism is very famous here too, but the people have the same prejudice of Candomblé with this.

I know plenty about the Catholic church. I doubt many but the Indians would be in the Americas, except for the church--since they sold Asia and the Americas to the Spanish and Portuguese.
