Favorite games: Kingdom Under Fire, Legend of Zelda, Patapon, Monster Hunter, ect...
Favorite gaming platform: Oh, I like all of the consoles. But The good old N64 holds a lot of nostalgia for me.
Tools of the Trade: Tombow brush pens, Prismacolor markers, Watercolor paints, Sakura Pigma pens, Assorted colored pencils of assorted brands, Photoshop 6.0 for non-traditional works, and Toon Boom studio 6.0 for animation.
Other Interests: Writing, Long Hair care, Cosmetic sciences, Wood/Stone Carving, Sumi, Textile weaving/dyeing, Gardening, Tea, Herbalism/Wildcrafting, Mythology, Programming (Even though I stink at it), and tinkering with my antique sewing maching.

Hi there! I live on a property near a small town in rural Texas and I love to draw, I'm not perfect, but I am improving more and more every day! I plan to eventually branch out into animation, my dream is to be an animator of hand-drawn animation- something that seems to be fading away. (When was the last time you saw a hand drawn animated movie in theaters...?)My dreams:
1. To be able to make detailed backgrounds and animations that are as awesome as this!
2. To be able to make a comic with an engaging story that people can love. (Even if it touches the heart of only one person out there, my work will be done!
)3. To be able to publish a novel! That would be so awesome!

I'm sorry for disappearing for so long, It's been hard these past several months. My mama got really sick from her cancer and then passed away last May. I was too depressed to do anything, but now I'm pulling myself together. I feel like things can't get much worse, so I have nowhere to go but up, you know?
I was binging Fairy Tail again recently, and I thought of you, LOL! Thanks for introducing me to that show btw, it was a very hard time, and it's fun to get a new part of it to look forward to every month. My brother keeps bugging me to make fan art cuz I like the show... but I'm scared to draw other people's characters. >-<

I know how hard it is losing someone close to you, and that it's easy to give in to the darkness. But it shows true strength, getting up when life beats you down.

Yeah, everything's fine- sorry for disappearing! I get really nervous talking to people, and it got very overwhelming for me. My hands literally shake! I suppose that's what you get like when you live in a very isolated place like I do... -_-

Oh! I live waaay out in the country, I couldn't imagine what it'd be like in a city even though I used to live in one when I was little!

Things have been difficult, but generally okay. I've been sick, and so has my mom, but we're both recovering now.

I'm very very glad you and your mama are fine now! You know, living in the country has always been my dream, but I have a whole lot of allergies (like flowers and stuff) so I can't.

I have a lot of allergies too, so I just stay inside most of the time. I also take stinging nettle, it's an uncommon remedy but it helps me a lot.

Ah, there's a lot of people who speak English who wouldn't know what I was talking about, too, lol! It's a plant with stingers all over, and also an herbal remedy. You might already know about it, just with a different name.
Allergy medications don't work on me, so I've tried herbal remedies instead. The stinging nettle plant is what worked best because it works completely differently from medicines and other herbs. I use herbs for lots of things, a lot of people would think I'm weird, but they really do work.

Ah, I found a picture on the Internet, and I do know it, it's called 'ortica' here, like the Latin name 'urtica', lol.
Still, I use herbs a lot, more like herbal infusions and stuff. My father's not very keen on 'normal' medication, because it has way too many side effects, so it's herbs all the time! To think that plants work on me even if I'm allergic to them really makes me laugh though.Β

The Italian name makes a lot of sense! Every now and then I do see it written as ortica. But mostly only as it's Latin or English name. I love herbs, because they do work wonderfully with a lot less side effects. It's especially nice when you can go right outside and pick something you need straight from the ground. ^-^
It's sad, because it seems that some of the knowledge is becoming lost, especially in the area I live. All of the herbalists that were here are long gone, and very few people in this area care about the wild plants and the uses they have. There are hardly any books written about the plants here in general, so books about their uses are even harder to find. I'm glad that your family is keeping it alive!
