Of course! In my opinion, angst is one of those maker-or-breaker things of a story. This is super helpful for gettin' it right!

I'm glad you liked it!
-- I understand about Angst making or breaking a story. Because I know the cycle emotions are supposed to run, if someone doesn't get the stages righ, I close the story--or toss the book.

Thank you!
-- One of my odder hobbies is breaking down genre plot forms. However, I find fairy tales in particular Very fascinating.

Naturally! Fairytales are so inspirational. (Though a bit odd). I used to check out the different colored "Fairy Books" by Andrew Lang. After reading this, I want to go check them out again ^^. I'll see them in a whole different light.
...I would've never guessed the thing about the first kiss/born child.

The only reason I know about the first kiss / first born child thing is because I was part of a living history group that did the middle ages - the SCA.
According to the folks in the society who specialize in period tales, (most of them honest to God history professors,) those two particular euphemisms supposedly date back to when being Close enough to Kiss = Close enough to throw down on the grass, and Wife very simply meant: "I had his kids". In fact, most of the 'Castles on Glass Hills' are really referring to fort towns on top of Glaciers which means Those stories date back to the Ice Age.

Ooo, the SCA! I've admired their work. I first heard of them through a YouTube comment on a Heather Dale ( :Sentimental: ) song.

I first heard about the SCA when I was in high school - back in the 70's. *grin* It took me over 10 yeas to find them, but when I did...? Let's just say, I'm STILL a member.
