Cause I don't know your last name but you have your first name on there along with whatever that other stuff is so when I saw on the news and then went and checked the list most of the info like 99% of it matched so yeah. I check the casualties list and watch the 'In Memoriam" part of the news as it's about the only way for me to know if any of my online friendlings have been...yeah.

Yeah I was there last year. I was one of the first people there, when it was a small Marine company and our ODA.
Oh and that vehicle was our SOF-MRAP (which we never used), that sucker was uncomfortable! Oh and it is nice to be back (except for the cold).

Home is great, 14 months of Iraq blows...you know that :-p. Where the hell is Sapper Road? Garrison is nice but with garrison comes retarded rules and regulations and endless paperwork.

Oh Sapper road is just off of gruber right near the entry to All American.. maybe they changed the name...? I don't know since I haven't been there in about 8 months. Oh and I am going to hate this cold when I get back... it's now just comfortable over here (mid to high 70s) and I know it is going to be bitter cold in Feb. Damn 1Sg is going to have us standing out there in shorts and Ts for PT too... I can feel it already.. ech!

The same day I replied to you, I saw Sapper street lol. And cold is better than heat. It's chilling down here right now. The day after we got back to bragg we were doing a rehearsal for change of command at division level...got back on a thursday...at work early friday morning for practice...mmm, i think that convinced about 100 soldiers to not re enlist heh. and the day we got back..around noon...didnt get dismissed until 2100...had to discuss everything that was to take place the next day for change of command ha!

oh dude that soo sucks! something like that happened last year in my company, our detachment got back from deployment on a sat around midnight... and our 1sg said we had to be at work monday. so on monday all we did was our travel vouchers and then just stared at a wall for the rest of the day. I'm so glad I am almost over with this crap.
