Hello OroGirl, and thank you very much for your message, HVALA MNOGO !
I'm really glad you apreciate my gallery, but honestly I just make easy collages from time to time, I have no particular talent for images...
On the other hand, you make really nice sculptures of Cthulhu... there's talent in your hands, and no doubt about it.
Keep the flame...

Hate is never desirable, but people go on hurting people, it's just the way of the world.
The conflict betwen Serbia and Bosnia is an old story, and you probably know it has its roots in the damned muslim turkish invasion... Bosnians are ancient Serbs, it's the same people in the beginning, so this conflict is regrettable of course.
In that time and in that piece of land, some turned to islam, accepted the turkish law and domination because it's easier to stand in the stronger party... some others refused to renounce and prefered live like heroes even if it's more difficult....
Things turned bad across centuries to WWII when some Bosnians helped Adolf Hitler with muslim SS divisions, and again Serbs were victims of incredible horrors.
Serbs are dishonestly presented as the "bad guys" of the story by all the western medias... the only defended their homeland and indentity, they did it yesterday and they do it today, they can't stand as a sheep to the slaughter. As anyone, they striked back when assaulted, but they never attacked first...
But it's a too long story and the DA pages are not the best place to talk of that...
Bye Bye RedClass...

How is that when the Turks cross into Europe it's an 'invasion' by 'damned Muslims', but when Europe invaded Palestine, it was a 'Holy Crusade'.
And perhaps conversion was a better choice for other reasons than standing with the stronger party. Why are those that didn't convert 'heroes'? Were the Jews of 2000 years ago, those who didn't convert heroes as well?
To really understand history, one most look at it dispassionately.
BTW, thanks for the

Just because Christians and christianity were in Palestine FIRST before islam came to invade this land many centuries after... so european christians coming in Palestine to crusade was NOT an invasion, europeans were "at home" in a christian land, and they came to protect and defend pilgrims attacked by the muslims !!!!! don't forget that important fact.

And the Jews were there before the Christians, and the Canaanites (eg.) were there before the Jews, etc. ad infinitum, and one has to go back quite a few thousand years before someone isn't invading some territory claimed by someone else. So, to insist on the view of history you are suggesting is pretty narrow. People migrate; other people are then absorbed by the new culture or pushed aside. This is the way of history.
Yes, the claim of the crusades was to protect Christian pilgrims, but this is not a defensible position from a historical point of view.
1) Christian and Jews was protected by law in Muslim territories, and during that period, except in the case of bad leaders (which every country has had their share of), protection was the rule rather than the exception. One need only look at approach Saladin took toward Christians when he recaptured Jerusalem in 1187 to see the norm.
2) When Pope Urban II called the first crusade it was primarily to end the more-or-less constant warfare the kings of Europe were waging on each other; nothing promotes unity like a common 'enemy'. Yes, it was prompted by a request from the Byzantine emperor, but if you look at the lives of the common people within that empire, with its complex and corrupt bureaucracy, conditions mostly improved under Muslim rule.

You talk like a defeated person. I know what my mother-civilization is, so this is what I defend. Treason to my roots is not the way I take. Bye.

I'm not a defeated person. I am an historian. WHat about treason to humanity? That is your primal root.

I have read about the Jihad brigades in the bosnia army and the fascist UstaΕ‘e genocide against the serb people. And i dont think nobody was a good in the war, every side in the bosnina civil war was full of murders and rapist, it was a ugly war same like in the Word War 1.
Western media are so politcal correct. But lot of people here know that media is lie to the people.

Of course, war is war, and nobody's absolutely good in such a situation. But it is very important for me to insist on that fact : Serbs never attacked first, and they keep on doing so, they just always legally defended themselves agains inequitable agressions, so who's the less bad in the story...?

This history is so much developed, and so much complicated, you know. You can blame Serbians (chetniks),
you can blame Croatians (ustase), you can blame muslims from Bosnia and Montenegro, communist gathered around Tito's person, even osmans from Osman Empire, oh, even Byzanthium... It is a long story of hatred and vegenance, beacuse everyone remembers other nations sins and wrong-doings.
