It's called a translator sir...

And because what you said was true. Even how you wrote/said it (for me personally) showed your point. People do prefer what is fake and have no idea that the real deal is better.

To me personally French is a beautiful language (certainly sounds better then some others) and I didn't mean to prove your point because of this. I'm sorry if my lack of a natural ability to read it offends you, believe me I wish I had one. I will also admit that even when translated I still did not quite understand it completely, but then again one never can truly completely understand a writer or poets meaning unless they themselves explain every detail from inspiration to style to even grammar, something the writer might not even completely understand themselves.

Now I'm not trying to say you are clueless on what your talking about if anything I thinking you hit dead on. I faved it because its true, written quite poetically, and hidden to someone like me who can't read French. I faved it because it gave me a challenge. Not only did I have to translate it I had to sit there and think, look at certain phrases and even translate those in my mind trying to find its meaning. I get the overall meaning its about beauty and how the world has seem to forgotten what that is and say its this when really its that, but putting it all together helps.

I really like it. It makes me think about what truth really is.

Oh........wow. Well, I got burned. Hard. I'm really sorry about this. Just that some other guy faved it, and it didn't translate it, so it made me mad. And hence the subject of the poem, it just made it worse. And I think you can know yourself, DA can be a place where hypocrisy is high and what people are seeking isn't expression or the liberation of art, but favs, more favs so they can be "popular".

It's my fault, I shouldn't have told you that and I'm deeply sorry. By your comment I see that you're not one of those hypocrites, but you truly want to find a meaning in all of this, in all this art. Once again, I'm truly sorry, but I'm still mad at this other guy.

Haha, no harm done. I know what you mean though the same guy faved me. To be honest I came across you through him. You were sooo mad I was just being my nosy self to find out what all the fuss was about I don't blame you for getting mad. Once I read I understood and expected the same treatment for faving as well.

And its okay I'm sorta mad at the other guy too. I noticed he was faving several in one minute and I knew he wasn't reading those. So something I got hyped about turned into disappointment as I discovered myself to be at the center of 'give me page views' scam. Oh well. Life goes on.

-Hmmm I'm not sure what picasa is but my guess is it's similar to photobucket. In that case you can't upload directly from picasa. Anything you want uploaded must be on your computer. Usually it's a good idea to have a drawing folder (or a couple) so you can find what you want easily.
I suppose if you have something on picasa that's not on your com then you could copy/paste it to your documents then upload it here.

-Journals are whatever you want to say. Like a blog. You can talk about your day, what's going on, anything. Doesn't have to even be drawing related.

-I don't bother with those. Those are for more serious deviants/artists who want to sell their works I believe. But personally I ignore it

-Its not like myspace. You send a friend request, they accept, and you guys show up on each others friends list. Nope, here 'friends' are actually considered people YOU watch. I kinda find that strange. Now just cuz you watch someone doesn't mean they're gonna watch back meaning your not going to show up on their friends list unless they watch you. And vise-versa
