Lol, renders. I can only dream i'll come back to the graphics world at the moment. Not only am I out of practice but i rarely have the time and drive anymore - Uni work is KILLING me here. How are the forums? Still go there? I might stop by sometime...
As mentioned, i'm busy as hell. Last week or so until the end of this semester so naturally, I've got a crap load of stuff to hand in and new stuff to learn which is turning pretty WTF. How's the cold shower of reality, a.k.a, life treating you?

Forum is still existing, between Spiny and Luci-now-named-Pink-Puff, and sometimes I say something. Real life is much of a cold shower right now, with a handful of family problems and a dollop of ailing relatives. I figure, though, if I can keep my head up (and in the arts in my free time), I won't come out of this broken.
I'll drop you a line/note when the game is ready for testing. Is your email forum still good? I actually have a series planned around this game; the first one will need the most testing. It is essentially the gameplay alpha, while the second release will begin the storyline proper.

Sorry for the late reply, I've just spent 15 hours doing work, 11 solid, 3 hours sleep in between, 4 hours today, so yeah, a bit tired
All I can say is, keep doing what you're doing matey. Get your head down when you have to and put all of the problems you're feeling into some creative work, tends to be at it's best during that time
E-mail forum should still work, i'm looking forward to beta testing. And a series, eh? Is it for a course or just personal interest?

Thanks for the tips, and try to get some sleep. I can honestly take maybe one day of under 3 hours sleep, but at that point it's mostly just adrenaline. Eventually I have to go down for awhile, I hope you get the chance to do the same.
The game is a personal project. It's changed quite a lot since I first started plotting; first it was a boardgame, then it was to become a PC boardgame, then it was going to be a low-fi browser-MMO, but now I think I have a better plan for single-player in Flash format.

I spent some time browsing your gallery as well. I'm not usually a fan of fantasy art, but your stuff stands out among the others (and not only because it's not "furry..." *shudders*). You have a good grasp on perspective and foreshortening, something I would like to improve for myself.

I'm curious, to say the least. I'll have a better look at it later, but for now what "class" of ships are you looking for? Fighters, Cruisers, larger, smaller?

This is the list of all human ships (that's the part of the game design document Iβm currently writing)
Quelea - An escape pod (simple one passenger vessel)
Relaxic Basic - a private ship (no weapons, for 2 passengers)
Relaxic Standard - a private ship, little bigger, and a few other little details to make it different from basic (no weapons, for 5 passengers)
Relaxic Deluxe - a private ship, bigger than standard, and again a little different than the standard (no weapons, for 10 passengers)
Tarasag - Space station for living, a full functional community, like a small city, for 4000 passengers, has a simple look.
Tarasag Research - Space station for scientist, looks more advanced than a regular Tarasag
Falcon - a small fighter
Falcon B - next generation of small fighter
Raptor - big fighter
Raptor B - next generation of big fighter
Drone M1 - mining drone
Aracari - big transport vessel
Elanus - explorer ship, has weapons
Elanus B - next generation of Elanus
Elanus C - next generation of Elanus B
Those of course donβt have to bee done immediately, and the order doesnβt matter too.
