No probs! It's been a while, huh? Thing shave been happening in spades, including my grandmother passing away last August, leaving me 50% of her estate, which turned out to include loads of pictures, knickknacks and books, along with enough cash for me to buy my own house outright (I moved three weeks ago today) and a fair chunk over to go towards living expenses and a savings account. Also, my freelance proofreading business has finally taken off! Yay!

Hmmm... Welp, there were a bunch of photos from trips to a seal sanctuary that I really liked when I was little -- I had a weird fixation on one of their Patagonian sea lions, an enormous and notoriously heavy blubberlump called Carus. He was actually kind of charismatic, even when he was plucking seagulls right out of the air at feeding time (they'd try to steal his fish). Otherwise, there's a massive stack of paintings by my grandmother and her artistic friends, which helped cut down the decorating budget a great deal ^^

Wow, that's cool! Great that you have photos to go with your memories of the sea lion. Also that's kind of awesome, just plucking sea gulls from the air (I don't like sea gulls XD)

Mostly landscape watercolours, tbh -- Cornwall is a landscape artist's dream ^^ All that rugged, varied scenery...

That sounds beautiful. I'd love to visit there someday. I'm no good at landscapes though so I'd just have to use my eyes to admire everything.
