# About me

'Ello!

Basics:
My name is Jaden and I'm a 23 year-old woman living in California. I've been here all my life and love it, though if I had the opportunity I would travel most of the time. There are so many parts of the world I want to see! My likes/favorites can be seen in Devious Info so I won't bother with those :P

Art:
Art is something I've been interested in all my life. Pencil sketching is what I've spent the most time with but I've hit a bit of a slump in that medium lately so I'm trying new things.
Digital art is fairly new to me and surprisingly fun! I just finished my first "realistic" piece and will continue to work on technique and see where I end up. :)
I also do a bit of painting and doodle on any flat surface I can get ahold of.

Technical:
The only graphics program I have at the moment is Paint Shop Pro 8. Having used it for years on various projects it's become very familiar to me and I have a hard time pulling away from the familiar. But now that I've read a bit about other programs I'm thinking of trying out Photoshop, as well as a drawing tablet. If anyone has any suggestions as to which tablet would be be best I would love to hear from you! :D

Hey it's me from the grocery store. You shouldn't give off the impression that you're "alright" at art! I'm pretty impressed so far. Especially the portraits.

You were self-taught, right? Color me impressed, it took a long time for me to get portraits down.

Thank you. I've been practicing a lot but I can never quite get things to come out on paper like I see them in my head. But I guess that's what practice is for, right?

I really like your postcard piece with the bridge on it. That's very nicely done.
