I thought the same, so I started small with a Poison Ivy costume. I did a lot of research - since its a common cosplay so there were a lot of tutorials - so I could iron out the kinks pretty easily and make the costume the best it could be. It only took a couple weeks. It wasn't until my Hattress one that I decided to step up my game and try to do a really cool one. That first try gave me a lot of confidence at costume building though, so I'm sure you you do it! Just start simple and try it out! Its super fun
