But not to fear. There’s a good chance we’ll never make our destination, but since this whole flight metaphor is just a weak attempt at a humorous anecdote, I don’t think that’s going to be a problem. Ah damn, I just shattered the illusion by crashing through the 4th wall.

I’m sure you regret your choice by now, considering this madness is basically what you signed up for, but since all tickets are non-refundable, welcome to Crazytown. Quarantine measures come into effect upon arrival. 
On a more serious note, here’s basically the run down. Posting regularly (fingers crossed), free funny stories in almost all fav replies, and an intro to Kevin the Llama in the Llama Badge reply. Also, if you haven’t already heard, I’ve been designated Kevin Llamason’s official biographer, so you can check out what he’s been up to in The Kevin Chronicles . (Unfortunately “The Kevin Chronicles” are currently on hiatus, while Kevin gets a handle on his pinecone addiction. In the meantime I hope to experiment with a new format in the near future, so keep an eye out for that)

Thanks. I hated writing comments and spamming people with the same old boring "thanks for the fav". Then I realized that I was actually quite mad and it was my duty to share that madness with others.

Aw thank you so much. I kind of gave up on inktober because I got like 6 days in and then by day 9 I was 3 days behind, so I did like six drawings in one sitting and then I just progressively got more and more days behind and I haven't felt like doing a sit down and draw for 5 hours again.

Hey man! Your art is great! I've never been good at the anime style, so i am impressed! Also I agree so hard with that journal post lmao. I try to respond to faves with actual comments on the artist rather than just begging. The DA community has become more of a competition for growth rather than a helpful and encouraging community it seems.

I have a few tips for drawing hands, if you want.
Firstly, a lot of people will try to maneuver their hand into the position they want to draw a hand in and then use their own hand as a reference - I do this a lot if I'm trying to draw something really detailed.
However, sometimes the best way to draw a hand is actually to try not to think to hard about how to draw it. You can try to use simpler shapes - I used this video for one of my hand drawing techniques -
Your fingers each have 3 knuckles correct... one at the hand, one in the middle, and one towards the end. Another good tip is to ignore that last knuckle towards the end when you're drawing like anime and stuff, because you rarely ever see that part of the finger articulate on its own in anime and comics anyways. You don't really need to draw it as a separate piece from the middle of the finger unless its bending right there.
I hope that helps! Over all just don't think as hard about it and it should get easier.
