Thanks. Unfortunately that painting was one of those ideas that just worked at the time. Unfortunately it took me so many attempts to get right I can't seem to duplicate the process. I think after rendering in 3d I desaturated the image and did 2 photofilters one blue, one sepia and played with the blend modes to get a kind of split toning effect. Then I started to add the colour from the light sources.
I want to do a Batman Gotham City one but I have to recreate my method first.
