Hi! All is well, thank you for asking.  I haven't had much time for the Internet lately though.  I'm always so busy in the fall/winter.  Buuutt...I've been able to watch every episode of Korra so far, plus I'm excited about the new season of Ninja Turtles this Saturday!

And Korra, Korra, Korra....WOW! I mean, is she stirring up the fandom pot or WHAT?!!! A lot of fans aren't happy with her right now.  Like, A LOT.  She's been making a lot of bad decisions lately.  As far as just not LISTENING to people goes, I mean.

And I completely understand.  Fall/Winter are pretty hectic, particularly with school and everything! @__@

Did you watch the season premiere yet? It was so suspenseful, sad, and epic all at the same time!!!

I know!  I love the new season of Korra so far.  She just needs to learn to be a little bit patient and listen to people.  The most recent episode was such a cliffhanger though!  My mom, my sister, and I got so mad about it!

Yes, quite hectic. I'm just glad I have easy classes this semester, that way I don't have to stress too much and overwork myself to make all A's!

I not yet!  The day it came on we went to a special event for my dad's job to celebrate how long the company's been around.  We got back in the early evening and I forget to set my recorder.  I may have to go to the Nick website to see it.  Sounds like it was awesome!

I got mixed feelings about Varrick because even though he's like, playing the bad guy (or is at least shady) now, I still love him!  His personality is just awesome and he's cunning!  I can't, not like the guy!  But between him and Unalaq I can't tell who is more evil, who is pulling all the strings, or if they're working together.  It just got a bit more exciting!  (Though I hear ratings haven't been all that good.  )

And yay for easy classes!!  I'm glad that at least the work itself isn't stressful for you!

Yeah, same here!  It's so exciting, all these characters and trying to figure out who's evil and who isn't! I also heard the ratings haven't been good.  It seems like Nickelodeon doesn't promote the show enough--I rarely see any commercials for it, and it's been so long since Avatar: The Last Airbender was on Nick that half of the kids watching Nickelodeon now (the really young ones, at least) may not have ever seen the original show. 

Yes, yay for easy classes!   The work's been pretty easy, especially in English (which was the class I was most worried about); I'm hoping it will stay that way for the rest of the year!

Yeah, you're right.  They really haven't been promoting their shows much at all.  And it's hard really to see which fans they're catering too because, really LOK is for us older fans.  I think it goes over the heads of the littles.  And like you said, the younger kids wouldn't really know A:TLA either.

I'm worried if it doesn't pick up soon the ratings won't get much better.  Hopefully by the time we get to Avatar Wan it'll kick things into high gear a bit! *crosses fingers*

I'm sure it will!  What are your English classes like?  Any particularly interesting topics you're studying at the moment? Like old authors, or a certain time period of writing?  Or do you have a teacher that does like, special assignments not really by the book.....like Mr. Simmons, I guess.

Yeah, I agree.  It seems like Nickelodeon isn't doing much with any of their shows right now.  The only ones that sorta-kinda get any promotion are SpongeBob, Sanjay and Craig, and Ninja Turtles.  Digimon Fusion has already been moved to Nicktoons (and I still haven't seen every episode of the original series)! D:  The only live-action Nick shows that I'm really interested in right now are Sam & Cat and Power Rangers Megaforce.  The rest of their live-action shows just don't appeal to me much at the moment.  I thought Nickelodeon was at a high point again, but over the past several months it seems like its been going downhill.  The new season of Legend of Korra has been epic, but the ratings are low.  I actually have some friends who are fans of A:TLA but hadn't even heard of LOK until I told them about it!   The show is mostly targeted towards older fans, but so many of them don't even know about it!  Then there's those Avatar fans who love the show, but don't love it the way some fans (like us) do, and don't go out of their way to see the episodes when they premiere...

On a happier note, last night's episode was perhaps the best so far!    The animation was awesome, and the last few minutes of it actually had me crying!  Also, they finally explained how there are still flying bison in existence (a few months ago, another friend and I were trying to figure out how Tenzin has a flying bison if Appa was supposed to be the last one).

It's a pretty good class, actually!  Right now we're reading the book As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, and doing some essays analyzing the characters.  Writing is one of my strongest points in English classes (thank goodness!).  On occasion I have a little trouble writing conclusions to essays but my teacher is really helpful; a lot of times she has us write just one paragraph at a time, then checks it and explains how we can make it stronger.  At the same time she doesn't always do things by the book!  Like one day in class we ended up spending the last 15 minutes of class watching cat videos on YouTube...can't remember what led to us doing that...
