Question, did you base Caelis off an Egyptian god or goddess?

Hi. No, I just wanted to have an anthro feline in a story, so I conceived him. I can't draw, so a friend of mine made this picture I use as avatar, which is the first portrait of Caelis, based mostly on my own appearance. He also took some visual inspiration from the X-Men's Nightcrawler, I believe.
But ultimately, my interest in having anthro characters did come from the Egyptian gods :]
