Konami are a bunch of assholes. That's the short version. I don't want Kojima to do nothing but Metal Gear games for the rest of his life but first of all, the fox engine is something he and his team made and Konami is just going to waste it all on mobile games and Konami is taking his baby from him. There's the real parents give their kid a proper burial and then there's the piece of shit who's pissing on the kid's grave. Sorry that got dark but you should see what I mean when I say I hate Konami. Now, we'll never get Silent Hills

Have you tried barnes and noble? Although they mostly have is Marvel last time I've went to one. Or you have you tried ordering Blacksad through the shops you go to? I'm lucky for having finding the five books in one comic shop that is right next to my college.

Oh, it's not a Hollywood production. Good. makes sense anyway. All the main characters are Japanese anyway (Well, Lupin's half french but you know what I mean) there are a couple things that would concern me ordinarily. One would be really crappy CGI, I know people like to complain about CGI here but the CG in alot of these Japanese anime based movies have REALLY obivious CGI but since Lupin is so cartoony and silly that it probably fit and the other thing would be the costumes and overall look of the characters. CGI is just nitpicking, the main thing I don't like about these Japanese movie are the costumes design now I understand that they try to make the actors look like the characters and there are times when you should do that and other times when it really doesn't work, like that live action Kenshin movie, how many red hair samurai have you ever seen in real life or a live action movie? I understand that they want to make them look like the characters but instead of the actors looking like the live action versions of these characters, they look like cosplayers instead but again Lupin is so out there that the bright colorful costumes and look of the characters should translate well

Well at this point any information concerning the filmmakers are being withheld. Some non Japanese are in it. But there is going to be CGI effects in the movie, just not for the entire film. You've brought up good point that heard in a NC review, "translations are hard to do depending on how they're executed while staying true to the source material". The actor who plays Lupin is "Shun Oguri" and looks a pretty boyish compaired to the monkey face like, but nothing a little haircut couldn't fix. And speaking of which, have you ever seen the very first film of Lupin III?

The guy for Zenigata seems good. Goemon looks pretty good too. Everyone else I'm sceptical about. Especially Lupin and Jigen, they just look too young. I just checked what the woman who plays Fujiko looks like and she's pretty but nothing to drool over. This may make me sound kinda piggish but Fujiko's suppose to sexy as hell, "would make a man kill for her" kinda sexy and I don't see that in this chick but hey, you never know, if they get into their roles, they might do great so who knows

Yeah, I see Hugh Jackman more fitting to fill the role as Jigen. The actor for Goemon had been in a samurai show. And I really don't care for Fujiko though.
