Have you tried Zbrush? It's made for digital sculpting unlike other 3D software. Look around youtube and you get the idea. It can get the job done.

I should add, I've looked at Zbrush and been fairly impressed;Β it is a good program.Β Just not right for me and my workflow.

Yes, they never cease to amaze me either. Somehow I think there's a lesson to be learned from these plants, but haven't quite figured it out yet!

Tenacity is one lesson I have learned from them. They grow ANYwhere. The slightest crevice in the concrete or tarmac, and their seeds will take root and grow.
Plus, they're quite useful and tasty. The blossoms can be picked and made into dandelion wine, the roots acan be dried, ground and used as a coffee substitute, and the greens, especially young greens are excellent additions to salads. Quite impressive for what many consider "just a weed," to be culled from their perfect lawns.
