Argh, Between the Bridge and the River is amazing. <3 As a writer, I've been really inspired by it. It's one of my favourite books. On par with George Orwell's work, in my eyes.
And hey, his memoir's set to come out in the fall of next year. And my birthday is in the fall. *plots subtle hints for family members*
