How are you preparing your drawings before scanning and coloring?

I'm not exactly prepping them that well, and that might be the problem. I clean the pencils up as much as possible, but I really HATE inking. If I can I try to adjust levels after they're scanned, but otherwise there's not a lot I can do. >

Well, you see, you can ink them...In most paint programs. Usually by selecting the outlines, setting them to black, and then expanding them a pixel or two so that they don't get lost amongst all the color.
Dad taught me how to do that, but I'm a fan of inking so my lines were actually a pretty clean to start with. And it was in photo shop so I'm not too sure if it's universal or not.
But you can play around. I think it would be absolutely fine if you just made the pencil lines straight up black in the coloring process, instead of the pale blue grey that scanners seem to love...Just as long as more definition comes in.
Unless you don't want definition at all, in which case, deletes them. Who knows.

Yeah...thanks for the tips. I definately need to try those out, since the scanners love to eat my lineart. I just sketch so light it has a hard time seeing anything. XP

So Just a quick question: Are your story series related to eachother in any way? Because I didnt have time to read them because I was in the middle of the Pendragon Series (its hard for me to keep multiple stories straight in my head, so I can only read one at a time).
And I would like to read the rest of them, So I was wondering what series (if any) come after or are related to "As Hunters Go" because that was the last one that I got to read the whole series to

Okay, pay attention and take notes.
As Hunters Go is the first in the series. It is the prequel to Check Yes Hunter, which leads into the series of oneshots I have titled Meet Samus.
Those are all related and in their own folders in my gallery. Any other stories are lumped into my Halo Pillar of Autumn folder, which are the misadventures of my friends and I through Halo. Those stories jump from before Halo, during Halo, and post Halo quite a bit, so you'll have to really read a little to figure it out.
