*the small fox was rather bored one day and was walking around..everywhere, really. It was early afternoon and he found his paws treading over the sand of a beach. He stops and sits, staring out at the waves, thinking of one of his friends..*

*coughing up salt water, Furara was lucky that she survived the late night storm. she pulled herself out of the water and watched the waves as well. all of her belongings were gone now, and there was nothing that could be done to bring them back*

*the fox suddenly perks up and swishes his tail as he notices something..no, someone coming out of the water..and it doesn't take long for him to recognize his friend and bark happily, suddenly running down the beach toward her*

*his barks seem to catch her attention and she looked in his direction. she smiled happily and scooped him up, holding him close* Zodi-kun~! I missed you!!

*he let out a yell of fright and ran faster, eventually tripping, letting the necklace fly away*

*barks with triumph and quickly grabs the necklace, tossing it off to the side for a moment where he couldn't pick it back up, then growls deeply and leaps forward to bite his shoulder*

*he gets up and he ends up biting his back, making him yell*

*presses his paws against the thief's back and leaps off, landing neatly on all four paws, crouching down and growling..*

*the thief growled himself, dashing forward to kick the fox in the stomach*

*yelps loudly, flung back a couple meters due to him being so lightweight, the fox lying there a moment before growling again and slowly lifting himself back to his paws..*

*while he was down he had gotten a metal pole so then he could beat him with it. however his march towards the fox was not unseen, it was being watched by a now VERY pissed off shark*

*thrashes his tail back and forth, but after he notices the metal pole, the fox continues to growl but has no choice but to back himself up, not noticing the approaching shark..*

*as he raised his pole there was a blur of blue that zipped past him and tackled him to the ground. it was Furara, and to say for the least, she was NOT a happy camper*

*suddenly perks up as the shark jumps into the fight, barking and racing forward to help her, biting at anything he can reach on the attacker*

*the attacker shrugs her off, but she went back right to her assault, but didn't expect him to grab the fox by the scruff of his fur and use him as a shield*

*barks and bites more..before he's suddenly lifted by his scruff and squirms about, snarling and barking loudly before yelping a little as he's forced to shield his enemy*

*she suddenly came out of her high, tearing up and reverting to her old self* L-leave Zodi alone! *he grinned, and threw a throwing knife into her stomach, making her cough and fall*

*the fox suddenly widens his eyes and barks loudly as he notices the knife, and he suddenly struggles a lot harder and more violently, trying his best to bite at the attacker while he starts trying to claw over his face*

*the claws catch his attention and he throws him violently at the coughing girl*

*curls into a ball in mid-air and barely misses the shark, then quickly turns around and leaps straight at the attacker, this time not holding back and aiming his jaws right at his throat*

*he hits dead home and he flusters, ripping the knife out and tries to stab him*

*lashes out with one of his hindpaws to try and knock the knife away; he hits the knife hard with his paw, but unfortunately cuts the bottom of his paw in the process with a yelp*

*he grins and drives the blade further up into his foot, trying to make him let go so then he could reclaim his prize*

*squirms and fights for a few more moments before the pain forces him to disengage, leaping back from him, trying to keep his balance on 3 paws..*

*he grabs the necklace and makes a run for it, hoping over cars and other obstacles the fox wouldn't dare to follow after*

*barks and tries to give chase, but after only a few feet his injured paw gives way and he falls onto his side..Giving up, he just tries to crawl back to Furara to check on her..*

*the moment he's back he's scooped up by a tearful Furara, shaking all over*

*barks softly and licks her 'nose' affectionately, looking down to where he saw her get stabbed*
