things are actually kinda sucky - this ongoing abscess in my abdomen is finally getting properly resected in the OR next week and the stupid insurance isn't going to cover the reconstruction from all the tissue loss. I'm sure the surgeon will make it look okay. After I sue the doctor that took out the port and left in all the sutures, I'll get a tummy tuck!

Ready for the summer?

yes i know! at least 5 ft up here! and cold!
but i get to shovel snow off the roof! yay! jared and his friends do backflips and stuff into the snow since it's so deep...and like...up the the windows XD. we gots a hot tub this year! YAY! i love jumping in, then out to roll in the snow and getting all numb, then in again! i guess i'm still a teen at heart...and i doubt jared will ever fully grow up X3

No problem, anytime! Even with my schedule, which is woefully lacking things of interest at times, I am finding it hard to find time to write. I can only imagine how difficult it would be with a full, grown up schedule. I only wrote non-fiction in my academic field in the 'old days' when I was working; I can't imagine switching gears and writing fiction!

Take care - we had snow today!!! Eeek, not enough shopping done! Better dial up Amazon!

Yes, thank you. Getting writer's block sucks too, because it's like, I barely have time to write as it is, and then to sit down in front of the screen and have nothing to say is very frustrating. I work odd middle of the day schedules. The earliest I ever get off of work is 5, and that's only once in awhile. I used to have some nice shifts at my old job where I'd get done at 2:30 or even 11 in the morning. Granted, I went in at 6 or 5:30 in the morning (suuuck!) but having the whole day was nice.

We got snowed in yesterday, so my early Christmas with my grandparents was canceled. I'm all bummed. But on the bright side I got all my Christmas shopping done yesterday!
