AHHH hey! it really has been a while! 
school has kept me busy as crap D:  i had a drawing class and i couldn't do any personal art other than sketches...
now that I have time, i'm hoping to actually get some art in! (hoping im not completely forgotten aha xD)

Darn school anyways. School kept me pretty busy throughout the year as well.

It was really hard.
I was looking through my gallery and saw the picture I painted of him. With you on the brain for favoriting my last pic, I had to run and tell you. 

He was really, really ill, and quite the ordeal for both of us. His illness started with lethargy + tumors and took a turn for the worst, all over a course of a few or more weeks. It was terrible.

But, well, on the bright side, I did get a new hamster.
I'll have to show you pics of him. His name is Calvin, and he's a cream-and-white teddy bear.

Though it's not the same, I'll gradually get to the point where I don't have to think of Arthur whenever I see him.

They do, indeed!
Will do! If there are any super cute pictures to show you, I will definitely do so. He is so interesting, though. He likes to spend his time sitting on his log and gazing out at the room around him (which his weird, considering his eyesight should be bad). He also likes to squeeze himself behind and/or on top of the wheel and just hang there!

Aww, I'd really suggest you get another one. Getting another one for myself is, personally, a part of the healing process.

Ahaha, when I take more, I will definitely show you.

I would say that you don't have to have a free schedule to have time for a hamster, since they are nocturnal and low-maintenance, but I feel you if you just haven't had the heart, time, energy, or what not to go out and get another one.

Well, you see, because hamsters are nocturnal, anyways, they will do fine with just a little cuddling or playing with before your bedtime. But I understand if you still feel like it would not be as easy as you'd like, haha. Oh well; that's how life goes!
