Well I started drawing with a big pile of "How To Draw Manga" printouts not that long ago. I've also got a link to some Andrew Loomis tutorial books in my journal that really helped me, if you wanted to start trying!

I tried drawing manga once...just imitating whatever was on screen. -le sigh- It was amusing but I was told that you shouldn't start drawing manga when you are a mere beginner? Something about bad habits or bad spirits or somesuch.I want to start trying.. even if it may have to wait another four weeks. I have a huge desire to draw architecture that I find appealing. But I shall definitely check out the tutorial. ^^
