I love Hunter S Thompson, I love him. I've only read Fear and Loathing and I'm dying to read the rest of the books. I was him for Halloween. I have a breifcase like he had for his drugs to put my candy in.

Thats awesome! I really want to read more of his books too. I've only read Fear and Loathing too, but I've heard good things about the other ones. He's an amazing author, and such an interesting person, its incredible. I would have loved to meet him.
Thats also the best halloween idea ever. Hah.

I only really started liking him this year, and he was already dead. He could have waited a few more months before killing himself so I could meet him. It happened with Douglas Adams, too. He died before I got to read any of his books. I just hope David Bowie will hang in their til I can meet him. I really do hope so, seeing as he's had heart surgery only last year.

Yeah I know, its ridiculous. I remember hearing about Hunter, and though I wasn't suprised, it was sad, I would have really loved to meet him, as unlikely as that would have been. I love Douglas Adams too, I never knew he had died until I saw the movie, and it said that it was dedicated to him. He had passed away about halfway through the filming or something. The movie was terrible, though, books are much better.

I saw the movie before I read the books. Even so, it bowled me over. I had never seen anything like it. I read the books right after that, all out of order, the fifth then the first then the third then the fourth then the second. I cried when Marvin died... er... stopped functioning. Now that I've read the books I have to admit that the movie can't compete.

Oh definitely. The book is awesome and so much more funny. The movie wasn't as great as I thought it would be, I was kind of let down, but it was still good.

I loved Marvin so. I also loved Wowbagger the Infinately Prolonged. My God, how I love those two.

Ahaha. Definitely Marvin, and the Doors. They only sighed in the movie, but they still rocked.

Really? Weird. I love movies and stuff that depress me, but Invader Zim definitely never did. Hmm.

Some things freak me out for no obvious reason, though. Like being too close to moving cars.

Yeah, I get freaked out by horses for no reason, I just do. One of those subconscience things, I suppose. I also get really nervous when driving in a car with someone when its raining really bad, and I always jump when they hydroplane.

Going under overpasses scares me, too. And I hate telephones. I'm a wee bit paranoid.

Telephones are evil. Every time it rings in the middle of the night I think it's someone calling to tell us that someone I love has died. Is that normal? I don't think so...
