I am a professional cross stitcher - by this I mean that I create my own cross stitching designs which you can see at www.StitchingDreams.co.uk, and I also model stitch for several cross stitching magazines. It keeps me very busy!

Your stitched works are amazing. How do you make a living from stitching? I'm curious about this profession, it is so time consuming!

I do commission stitching for 5 national (UK) cross stitch magazines - CrossStitcher, Cross Stitch Crazy, Cross Stitch Gold, Cross Stitch Card Shop and World of Cross Stitching. They pay me to stitch up the cross stitch charts they are going to print in their magazines, so their readers can see the finished results :) (Smile) Also, because of my experience with stitching I now design my own cross stitch charts and sell them as well - www.StitchingDreams.co.uk

It is very, very time consuming... and I'm often up late working on stitching or designing, but I love it, so I don't mind
