As for TOR, I am split between the Jedi Consular and Imperial Agent. Sometimes I wish the Agents, Smugglers, & Bounty Hunters were all neutral, but I guess that would cause too much confusion.

Yeah, it's best to have defined sides as to foster rivalry. WoW did it best with the Alliance and the Horde.
The only thing I worry about is one class being more fun to play than others, therefore that class gets overplayed and the side gets overpopulated.
