Seriously. Hehe. From my experience, I don't know all that many that have even heard of VP - let alone be fans! But how can you not love the game? I was addicted to Star Ocean:2 so when I saw the same creators had released Valkyrie Profile I couldn't resist buying it, even before knowing what it was about. So glad I did.
And I have a lil' banner of Lenneth I made; has yet to be colored, though. Perhaps in time I shall submit it here. Glad ya liked the desktop, too!

Yes! But your icons are grand! Tee hee. Currently I'm sketching a Lenneth/Lucian picture... won't say much about it, other than it involves weeping lilies flying everywhere.
And I highly recommend Star Ocean: The Second Story. Sadly, I have yet to play the third installment... I heard it was a bit disappointing, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

-nods happily- Yes, yes. There is a third game for PS2. I'm sure it's good... but in my eyes it'd be so hard to beat the second one for PSX. I think I might go buy it this weekend, actually; it's only $20 now where I live, dunno if it's a greatest hits or if it just has been out for awhile. From the screenshots I've seen, it reminds me a lot of Xenosaga (graphically, anyway)... hehe.

Oh yes... I adore the few pieces of fanart I have found of SO. I've seen picture from the manga, and the art style of that is so scrumptious - I tried to import it once but the Japanese store I ordered from said it was out of print. How depressing!!
