well, yeah kinda, but over-all I'd say most of the internet and teachers are mainly there for your own benefit and want the best for you and to give you options. thats why is it important to practice and develop our critical thinking skills. If a teacher has a motive, it would be pretty easy to tell, usually they literally want to see you are your best potential and to give you the options to make the most out of your education to get the best out of life.
