because i'm especially sucktacular, i haven't (intentionally) put any of the desktops i've been creating in the Deviations section (despite the fact that they are basically finished). why? first of all, the art used as the basis for the desktops ISN'T MINE. it's CLAMP's, and i don't feel right claiming it as my own. secondly, (excluding the masking out of the original background in the Aoki desktop), each of these desktops took me all of five minutes to throw together. they're no masterpieces . . . therefore, they do not qualify as "finished pieces" in my own mind.

and the answer as to whether i'm anal retentive: yes. yes, i am.
