i love how your work can go from being really jumpy to fluid to realistic and smooth, it's like a scale of emotions being shown in your use of lines: energetic to tiredness to relaxed!

aah nice!!! that's so cool. i'm taking marine bio next year and i'm super excited. i haven't been up to much. drawing basically. haha. i've been taking life drawing classes though!! they're really fun and i'm learning a lot so i'm really happy with them.

for the most part yeah. it's just useful for me to learn how to draw things from life more quickly and learn how to use other materials!! other than that it's basically just practice though. this class is only for a month and it's a clothed life drawing class. i think after it i'll take another one but draw nude people. then i think i'll know enough to just be able to go to open studios for practice and stuff. sorry i'm rambling hah

Oh yeah, that sounds like a cool experience! I feel like it'd be cool to do but at the same time i'd be nervous about taking an art class with adults y'know??? I have basic knowledge from my drawing class but i don't know how to draw things from life and i haven't improved on cartooning because whenever we did subjects in that class we just traced :/

i thiiink that we payed like $140 or something along those lines for 5 classes. it was at the art student's league center in my city (i think they have them pretty much everywhere) and it was a teen beginning life drawing class so we learned the basics and how to use various materials. in my opinion the class was worth the price. i did have to buy a lot of supplies for the class which was kind of expensive but the teacher also gave us tons of supplies for free so! it just ended and i feel like i've learned a LOT and even my people watching drawings have improved, so if you're thinking about taking a class you should go for it!!

wow yeah, that's expensive but for what i paid for just two classes ($80) at school i feel like that's pretty fair. that's really cool, i'm not sure if we have anything like that here, maybe in seattle but it costs money just to drive there >.<
