I can only say I like the second game over the first, as they're the only ones out here (yet). ^^ My favorite characters are Sakuma, Kazemaru and Afuro and yours? In Europe all the names are different (Sakuma Jirou -> David Samford; Kazemaru Ichirouta -> Nathan Swift; Afuro Terumi-> Byron Love / for example)

Oh...then, without watching the first game, it's a little bit difficult to understand the story(Relationship between the Present Inazuma eleven and others left) isn't it?

I often used them - Sakuma,Kazemaru,and Afuro - in IE 2(DS game)
They're good players

My fav are Fubuki, Gazelle(Aria), and Tachimukai.

Names are so different! Really far from the original names (xOx)

Well, probably. But those you lose at the beginning rarely had any screentime and to be honest, until the end of the game against Dark Emperors I hadn't even noticed Kurimatsu was away xD

Europe versions:

Fubuki Shirou -> Shawn Frost / Atsyua -> Aiden / Gazelle -> Gazelle (Gazel in eng. I believe. In some versions he's female lol) / Tachimukai Yuuki -> Darren LaChance

I know ^w^ Japanese names are hard to memorize for lots of westerners, that's why I think they've been changed^^

In the game against Dark Emperor,I remember, I was laughing, because of their uniforms! Why were they wearing such tight uniforms!! XD

Oh Fubuki's first name is Frost...interesting.
Fubuki(吹雪) means "blizzard" in Japanese
In passing, Tachimukai means "Facing"

Gazelle really looks and sounds like female.
(Burn's voice actor is male, but his's female /JPNver)

I think you're right
For example, Kurimatsu means "chestnut" and his head looks like a chestnut and Mamoru means "defend/verb"...like these, their names are easy to remember for Japanese children, but no meaning for foreigns

Froste is his last name^^ Always hard to remember. While in Japanese the last name is said first (Fubuki Shirou) in the West the First name is said first (Shawn Froste)

In the German version, it's pretty strange that Natsumi and Shourin have the same voice actor xD Kurimatsu and Kidou also share their voice actor...

On a side note: the voice actress who dubs Natsumi and Shourin also is the voice of Satoshi/Ash in Pokemon xD

Yes, it's a little confusing
From Japanese view, people in the West often call or introduce First names, but Japanese people call or introduce Family names(even though they are friends) so sometimes we're suprised when First name is called in Western Movies or dramas "Oh, that name isn't family name!?"

Oh, really! In Japanese ver, sometimes voice actors are shared, too!
(they play just supporting roles, don't play main characters at the same time, except for brothers and sisters)
But they change the sound of their voices, so it's really hard to find!

Satochi! Haha! well, in Japan, Light(Death Note) and Death the Kid(Soul Eater) is the voice of Fubuki!

Well, we in German have it easier, almost all German names are exclusively Last names or First names^^

Well, the good voice actors in German also change their voices for different roles^^

And Atsuya is the voice of Riku from Kingdom Hearts in Japanese ^w^

It's so useful! Japanese people, we must be surprised and feel it strange, when we're called First names by people we don't know much.

Oh, good job! Some Japanese good voice acters can't change their voice 'cause their voices are very peculiar!
For example, Koyasu(Jade/ToA,Shinsaku Takasugi/Silversoul), Sugita(Gintoki Sakata/Silversoul,Edgar/IE3)

Well, in most cases, it's not too hard in English either, as when people are addressed by their last names, usually they say Mr. (someone) or Mrs. (someone) etc. It's common to do so in most European languages. Though it's just common, not a given^^

My favorite Japanese Voice Actor is Banjo Ginga. Especially as Souther from Hokuto no Ken. ^w^

I think it's easier to learn English than other languages.
Words aren't changed so much by before and after words
But the culture is so different(maybe Japanese culture is especially tricky) that I sometimes feel it sooo difficult><
