You just have to be on dA for a long time. Also, finding chatrooms that RP things you like is a great way to make friends and get some fame. To find a chatroom, go the the down arrow on the top-left of the dA page and look around in the menu till you find the word 'Chat'. Then search a topic you like, like Warriors or Creepypasta, in the search bar under 'All Chatrooms'.
You should search for RoleplayofDarkness. That's my chat that I made.
