Well maybe after POTC 5 comes out you'll find more of us at the conventions! As it is though, there are quite a few of us Jack Sparrows wandering around at other types of events like renfaires, parades, state fairs etc.

No the way it ended it probably could have ended the series. But yea, you should see it. I personally liked the 4th movie. A lot of people didn't though

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you, of course. It's nice to know you remembered me here.

Anyway, Pinterest is basically the best way to share your images or other peoples' works (especially fashion & art store items) without having to interact with obsessive admins, competitive art-critics, strangers/stalkers that generally ruin image-hosting sites + social networks. I'm developing fan-pages on FB and Pinterest, which will feature a lot of photographers, comic artists, cosplayers and independent music-artists. So I hope I will continue to be able to offer free exposure/publicity for you on those pages!

I just tried Pinterest again and am starting to understand it. But I still actually don't mind all the interaction that occurs on sites like dA here and other more social/comment based forums. I like the feedback. But I guess in some cases admins can get annoying.

I used my real hair for Sweeney Todd
However I will be altering a wig for that character sometime soon.
I do agree, the current wigs available for Sweeney are really awful. I'd suggest buying a black curly/wavy lace front wi and modifying it yourself.
Buy a wig like this www.ebay.com/itm/Medium-Length… , and add the white stripe in his hair using this technique www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWqGTz… Remember that whatever direction you pull the hair in, is the direction in which it will end up laying (if that makes sense). I'd probably use hair like this to add to the wig www.ebay.com/itm/A-15-22-Remy-…

And I'd add the stripe in using the hand ventilating technique, but then I'd also add black hair to the surrounding area, if that makes sense. i may make a video tutorial if I ever get around to making the wig.

I get into costume at least every two weeks usually, more so during the summer because Renfaire n stuff like that. But when I am in Boston there are meet ups that I go to and tons of conventions that I attend, also was part of a few parades. 

I'm moving to WI though, so when I am out there I may be doing this less, but I'm going to try and get paid events as Jack out in WI. 

It's nice to see different Sparrow impersonators and funny to see a bunch of them in a photo together because those who aren't Sparrow impersonators often can't tell us apart from each other. It's also interesting because most of us stay in character for the entire event until we meet up with another Jack.. then we kind of immediately drop character and begin comparing costume pieces. The Sparrows are a funny group of people xD
