Hi,
da du ja das Canon 300mm f/2,8 L IS USM benutzt wollte ich mal fragen ob du Erfahrungen mit der Non-IS Variante hast.

Im speziellen wie schwer es wiegt bei solch einer enormen Brennweite keinen IS zu haben? Bin am überlegen mir das Non-IS Objektiv+2xTC für die Wildlife-Fotografie zuzulegen, da ich mir die IS-Variante finanziell momentan einfach nicht leisten kann ... Mir ist bewusst das es bei 600mm nicht möglich ist Freihand-Bilder mit dem Non-IS zu machen, aber wollte einfach mal wissen wie deine Einschätzung zu diesem Objektiv ist/wäre. Im Bezug auf Wildlife versteht sich.

Würde mich über eine Antwort sehr freuen.

Hi,
Ich habe leider keine Erfahrung mit der Non-IS Variante. Soweit ich gehört habe soll es aber optisch auf dem gleichen Niveau sein. Wenn du also auf den IS verzichten kannst ist es sicherlich für Wildlife sehr empfehlenswert.
Ich mache halt oft auch Freihandaufnahmen und da ist der IS halt schon sehr nützlich, ohne konverter krieg ich zB unter günstigen Bedingungen noch 1/50s scharf !
Aber meistens braucht man bei Wildlife ja sowieso schnellere Zeiten da sich die Tiere ebenfalls bewegen und wenn du vom Stativ aus arbeitest ist es eh egal.

Vielen Dank für die schnelle Antwort, werde mir das ganze mal durch den Kopf gehen lassen, habe ja noch bis August Zeit. (Dann geht's nach Norwegen)

Übrigens deine Bilder sind, wie schon mehrfach erwähnt, der Wahnsinn. Mach weiter so, schaue immer wieder gerne durch deine Galerie! ;) (Wink)
