Favorite books: Lots! But some of the best series are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Infernal Devices, Mortal Instruments, and the Gallagher Academy series.
Favorite writers: Lots, including J K Rowling, Rick Riordan, Cassandra Clare and Ally Carter.
Favorite games: Scrabble! (No really, it's awesome.) Pokemon too, but I think I've grown out of it now :P
Tools of the Trade: Pencil, eraser, pen, keyboard for typing and headphones for music.
Other Interests: Reading, writing, trying my hand at playing the keyboard (self-taught so I'm pretty rubbish at it)

Hi there! Just some quick info about me:

Ok, first off, my real name isn't Jess Rain - it's just a psuedonym, or a persona. Sorry about that. But yeah, I'm just a normal teenage girl who loves to read (especially anything by Rick Riordan, J K Rowling, Cassandra Clare and Ally Carter!)

Secondly, I like to make up words. I like temporary neologisms.

And thirdly, I am not really an artist, but more of a writer and even more of an avid reader. I do, however, like to draw in my spare time.

Also, I'm a Harry Potter fan. Anyone who claims Twilight is better than Harry Potter, I disagree with you very, very much.

And Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, and The Gallagher Girls series all rule! :)

Random Fact: I like maths, biology, chemistry, psychology and programming, so most people automatically assume I am a physics person too. I'm not. As much as I like to read (and pretend I understand) physics jokes, I don't understand physics. Just thought I'd put that out there.

That's ok :) (Smile) I honestly love your work, and like I said, the best bit is that you read some pretty awesome books XD I know you probably haven't heard of it (but I cant help asking, fingers crossed), have you read Angelfall, by Susan Ee?

Ah, it's REALLY GOOD :D (Big Grin) Raffe and Penryn are just amazing XD But that could just be because I love books where the main characters are meant to hate each other at first but then they fall in love slowly - and also because Raffe is so arrogant and funny and just generally hot <3 The witty banter between them is amazing! It also has a really high rating on Goodreads. because 4+ ratings are pretty rare :) (Smile)
