I'm looking for people who might be interested in reviewing my book actually. Totally free of course. Reckon there'd be anyone in the group that'd be keen to read a free book? It's reviewing well on Amazon so far (4.9 stars over 7 reviews) but you can never have too much feedback. Granted, I'm guessing a critique group might be more interested in development than a finished product, but what do you think?

Honestly, I wouldn't mind reading a free book and reviewing it (though, if the book is bad, I wouldn't continue reading it). I imagine some others would be interested too, but I wouldn't say there were many in the group... maybe only a handful in all of DeviantArt. The real issue being finding those people.

Personally, I would go to GoodReads. It's a community more suited for books, reading, reviews, etc.

Already there, got a few reviewers reading away. Mainly I came to DA because it was an easy format to host preview chapters I could link to my early readers

That's understandable. It's almost a shame GoodReads doesn't do that... at least, I haven't come across it.

Naw, sadly not. I can use Amazon links to show a big chunky preview, but DA lets me split it into chapter by chapter.
I'm also giving thought to using the account to post up some Homebrew Dungeons & Dragons stuff every now and then, campaigns and monsters and stuff. Anyway. Thanks for the invite to the critique group! I'll post my comments when I can

Ah, I can understand that. I imagine many authors have their own websites, whether that's on Wordpress, or something custom-made and self-hosted, etc.

Sounds cool!
