I'm an Associate Professor of Art Education at Indiana University, Bloomington. My research over the past 7 years has involved explorations of art learning in online (fan) communities. I'm currently conducting a nation-wide survey of the art knowledge, learning and sharing experiences of adolescents and young adults in traditional school and online settings. The study is supported by the National Art Education Association Foundation (NAEA / NAEF) and provides human subject protection through Indiana University IRB.
