Hi Thomas, very intriguing writing you've got there! I'm not surprised to see you're published. Welcome to dA! I stumbled across your 'Devil comes to Whitby' while browsing the literature division. Well done!

Hello Catreya, thanks for the message and the kind words. I'm still finding my feet here but I've admired the site for a long time now and feel proud to finally contribute in my own way. Cheers for the warm welcome!

No worries! It's a fantastic place, and I'm just coming back to it now after quite a long break. What kind of works are you looking to publish next? Short stories? Novels? If you ever feel like diversifying, or being around other writers, please feel free to check out our community site - www.inksty.com

I've been working on my second novel for a while now, but I'm always writing short stories while I do so. They are the two forms I am most involved with. I will check out inksty and have a look around!

Hahaha, that tends to be what I do - although perhaps not short stories per se, more like teasers of other, not quite planned out, novels. Seems to e a good way to break things up so the original novel/work doesn't become a monotonous slog, no? What's your first novel, by the way? Is it available online/printed? If you've published it already and find you like the site, we can feature you or do an interview on the blog to help promote it.

The first book is called Lynnwood and it's available as either paperback or ebook, depending on your reading preferences! I will always favour physical books over ebooks, but I understand the advantages of digital reading. Lots of my shorter works are only available online, for example! A feature would be great, if you had the  time. It's so difficult to get noticed!

I know what you mean! We're working on expanding our membership base at the moment, and it's hard to invest time and money wisely. We've found a lot of online advertising is false (fake FB likes, fake twitter followers, etc), and advertising by other means is usually very expensive, or by word of mouth. I'd love to do an interview/feature with you please PM me your email address, and if possible, an author picture and a cover picture of your book - I'll email you the questions!
